The facility is staffed with licensed nurses 24 hour per day and all residents are under the care of a physician medical director. Residents have access to numerous recreational and rehabilitative activities led by a staff of certified nursing assistants, activities professionals and numerous volunteers and community groups. Social Services personnel attend to the residents social and welfare needs.
Activity Assistant
The John E. Harter Nursing Center is searching for an enthusiastic, outgoing motivated person to join our team. Someone who enjoys working and being creative with patients and residents. The Activity Assistant will work side by side with the Activity Director assisting with the planning, development, communicating, coordination, and setting up for group and individual activities. This position has a work schedule that will include daily and alternate weekends.
Qualifications: Preferred: Completion of High School; Associate Degree No formal training is required; in-service training provided 1 year recreation experience preferred
